With 35 years in the pharmaceutical trading industry, Sekar Viswanathan recognized the need for better sanitation at the Government Royapettah Hospital Cancer Block to enable quicker recovery for cancer patients vulnerable to secondary infections due to low immunity. Inspired by his upbringing and a desire to serve humanity, he founded Viswajayam Foundation on July 10, 2013, in memory of his parents, Shri. Viswanathan and Smt. Jayalakshmi.
